
J.H. Cunliffe & Co Ltd has been established in Rochdale since 1878 and has been involved in manufacturing textiles throughout its history. With retained sewing and assembly skills, many long service personnel, the company is proud to deliver high quality services to the trade.

Working with many of the prestigious retail brands of the UK high street, we provide making services for many varieties of finished products. Working with clients free issue materials which we can store and call upon for production, we provide an efficient and on time service.

Priding ourselves on quality and service, we work to extremely high standards which meet with the expectations of some the most demanding UK retail brands. Quality checks and disciplined processes throughout the production including 100% inspection, and all nursery products are metal checked for safety.
Our services include wide width cutting ideal for bedding projects, but also for double width drapery fabrics. With semi-automated suspended system we are enabled to handle large production orders of many thousands of units.

JH Cunliffe are part of the Fast Forward program which focuses on better business for the factory workshop. We are also part of other anti slavery programs.

Each site has been equipped with Biomass boilers, which has brought down our Carbon footprint by 75%. JH Cunliffe has also modernised its machinery and now uses state of the art equipment to produce higher quality products at extremely competetive prices.

Our customer base is broad, as we operate in both the retail and commercial markets. JH Cunliffe has the facilities to make huge volume for large projects or to do one off bespoke products for a more tailored domestic project.
